Dear Jerry,
I just want to convey my gratitude to Green Termite Bait Systems for developing a wonderful product. I live in Buderim, QLD "on top of the mountain" (currently like a lot of areas throughout Queensland - a very active termite zone).
I have a full perimeter termite bait install (DIY) around my house. My neighbor, who was renovating his home reported a termite infestation three months ago. In addition, just across the road (duplex), they too advised termite acitivity. I was concerned.
I had some peace of mind as I had the baits installed for over 7 months (have annual house inspections too), but as I had no activity in my baits I started to doubt the system a bit. Well bingo! One month ago one of the baits "fired up" I hired a pest professional pronto, and he discovered a substantial nest 3 meters from the house. Termitrak scans of the internals of the house revealed no internal attack. The bait was promptly treated AND the nest, saving my house from certain ruin by these silent killers.
Once again. Thank you for these wonderful termite barometers. (I am about to order 6 more baits for standby).
